Travel to Roma

Rome is the capital of Latium, and is also the largest city in Italy: the cultural and political center and the most visited by tourists from Italy.

People

In general the Romans are very friendly and open. If you try to talk tourism in your language. Some are lost even if you explain you things in the city, I suggest, etc. We also wish you a pleasant stay in Rome. But be careful, because some are very naughty and might try to fool the tourists.

Buy

In Rome what the markets are abundant or "trace." There are a few around town, one in the area of Porta Portese, one in the area where San Giovanni Laterano (St. John Lateran) and numerous stalls around Termini. One of the characteristics of these markets is that you can bargain the price of the products, even to pay half the original price. Just take a look and keep walking, then call you to let the cheaper product.Or you can say it is expensive. Also beware of pickpockets as the tourists that go with backpacks is easy to steal

.There is a cheap supermarket Termini station with non-commercial brand products outside the country.

To Eat

Italy is very rich in food. However, it should take certain precautions, particularly in Rome, and there are many establishments that are engaged in "scam" tourists with predatory pricing.Always consult the menu or the letter, and if not what you want to ask, talking price, otherwise you may be charged € 7 for a glass of beer (0,4 l), or € 6 for a tiny shot of limoncello liqueur. In some restaurants, they charge up to 15% service charge, and in others not included. This should appear on the menu.

The area of Trastevere is full of small restaurants and pizzerias.

Drink and exit

Italian wines are pretty good.
In most restaurants, house wine, served in small bottles, the quality is quite acceptable.
Rome was not especially noted for its nightlife.
There are some bars in Trastevere. Around Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori and bars there, but close to 2. In the Monte Testaccio there are some clubs, but it is from the center and need to go by taxi.
In Trastevere area there are many bars, the question is trying to go to see which you like more, but the Café Gauguin at Via del Moro 26 have a very good selection of cocktails and a good price
